Individual Therapy

Clinical psychology for people struggling with their mental health and well-being, or just seeking some additional support.

I work with people of all ages, although I have a particular interest in working with children, teens and young adults. 

My areas of expertise include:

  • Anxiety (generalised anxiety, phobias, social anxiety, panic attacks, stress)
  • Depression and other mood disorders
  • Anger and aggression
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
  • Body-Focussed Repetitive Behaviours such as nail biting, hair pulling, skin picking
  • Working with neurodivergence – Autism and ADHD
  • Emotion regulation
  • Gender dysphoria
  • Friendship difficulties
  • Relationship problems
  • Adjustment difficulties – such as adapting to life changes, school transitions, developmental changes

Parenting Support

I offer child-focussed parenting support for parents / caregivers. This may involve individual sessions, or joint sessions between you and your child. These sessions are designed to help you better understand your child’s needs, identify and implement supportive strategies, identify and build upon the strengths you already have as caregivers, and nurture your relationship with your child. 

Liaison

Providing recommendations and support for teachers, allied health professionals, or other individuals involved in your/your child’s care.

Medicare

Medicare rebates are available to many individuals seeking psychology sessions. Please contact your GP and make an appointment to discuss your eligibility for a “Mental Health Care Plan” if you would like to be able to claim a rebate for sessions. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Scheme, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of up to $141.85 per session (for up to 10 x sessions each calendar year).
